Paul Garnett pauses during an interview to reflect on the obstacles that he and his family have overcome in the past few months since dealing with being evicted from their house on Barber Street in Auburn, NY. Garnett and his family were evicted because they reported a backed up sewage line in their basement to the city Code Enforcement in a last ditch hope of getting it fixed by their landlord. The Garnett family now lives on Lafayette Street.
